Public install at WPCD/ITM

On the WPCD/ITM Gateway server there is a public installation of OMFIT available. OMFIT can be executed loading the omfit module and running the omfit command:

module load omfit
omfit

Tip

New users might want to take a look at the Run section.

Use No-Machine

It is highly recommended to run OMFIT using No-Machine, since this will make interactivity of the GUIs and plots more responsive than using X via SSH.

The nodes to which one can connect via NoMachine are:

s51.eufus.eu
s52.eufus.eu
s53.eufus.eu
s54.eufus.eu

Both the SSH and NX protocols are supported.
