Long Description

FREYA is a –FAST– neutral beam model that is generally used within the ONETWO transport code. The FREYA model has been extracted from ONETWO and made available as a standalone neutral beam solver.

Typical workflows

This module is used to:

• manipulate the FREYA input files

• run FREYA

• do some minimal postprocessing and plotting of the NBI power deposition and current drive profiles

Supported devices

• Device agnostic but mostly tested for DIII-D
