Long Description

The core plasma fluid transport equations are solved with a static flux surface geometry constructed from an axisymmetric MHD equilibrium solutions. Experimental profiles and power balance is extracted from the TRXPL code producing a plasma state file.

Typical workflows

  1. Load plasma state file from TRXPL
    • Select shot, TRANSP runID, time and averaging time
    • Extract TRANSP plasma state
  2. Choose transport model and options
    • Select transport model from drop-down selector
    • Load transport model specific namelist
    • Select transport channels and options
    • Run simulation
